Berserk is an example of incredibly well crafted storytelling, this dark medieval-fantasy narrative weaves thru classic themes of betrayal, loss and redemption. It's so Shakespearean but still manages to harness the juvenile appeal of gore and action that most modern Anime just wield around carelessly. Definitely worth your time if you haven't already given it a taste!
