I think Three Houses is in the right direction for the Fire Emblem franchise, so far my favorite of the new games (since Awakening) in terms of story but probably one of the weakest titles in the "tactics" genre. The mechanics are just grossly simplified and uninteresting, hopefully they work out core gameplay in the next installment and continue to throw away the dating sim elements xP
